Remove AI Chapters for YouTube™ does not collect, store on a server, sell or share any personal data.

• No data leaves your browser. The extension makes no network requests. There is no analytics, no advertising and no remote code.
• Uninstall survey: when you remove the extension, your browser opens a short, optional survey (tally.so) asking why. Its address carries the extension name and, except on Firefox, the extension version, your browser language and how many days it was installed — nothing that identifies you. Answering is up to you.
• What is stored locally: your two switches (hide AI chapters, hide all chapters). They are kept in your browser's extension storage and in youtube.com's local storage on your device, and are removed when you uninstall the extension.
• What it reads: on www.youtube.com only, it reads the chapter data in the page to remove AI-generated chapters before the player shows them. This happens on your device and nothing is recorded or sent.
• Permissions: storage to remember your switches; content scripts on https://www.youtube.com/* only.
